THIS is the chilling moment a man appearing to wield a crossbow walked through the streets of a city during a broad daylight attack.
Two women were seriously injured as armed officers rushed to Otley Road, Headingley, Leeds, shortly before 3pm on Saturday.

In the video, a man can be seen walking down a street wearing all black.
He appears to be carrying several weapons on his front and back.
Counter Terrorism Policing North East said it has taken over the investigation to “explore any potential motivation”.
Two women suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and taken to the hospital due to a self-inflicted injury.
A crossbow and a firearm were recovered from the scene, the force added.
West Yorkshire Police declared a major incident at the Otley Run this afternoon – as students began celebrating the end of term.
The Otley Run is one of the most famous bar crawls in the UK.
And the popular Leeds pub crawl would have been packed with punters enjoying drinks on Saturday afternoon.
A statement from Counter Terrorism Policing North East read: “Officers attended and located three people who had suffered injuries, two of which were women and were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The third, a 38-year-old man, has been arrested and taken to the hospital due to a self-inflicted injury.
“Two weapons have been recovered from the scene, which were a crossbow and a firearm.”
The statement continued: “Due to the circumstances surrounding the incident, Counter Terrorism Policing North East have taken responsibility for leading the investigation with the support of West Yorkshire Police.
“Extensive enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances and explore any potential motivation.”
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to Otley Road, Leeds at 2.47pm today to reports of an ongoing serious incident involving a man seen with weapons.
“Officers attended and located three people who had suffered injuries which are at this time not being treated as life-threatening.
“A male suspect was located and detained.
“Inquiries are in their initial stages to determine the wider circumstances of what has taken place and further updates will follow.
“A number of police scenes remain in place and ensuring public safety remains our priority.”
Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said her thoughts were with the victims of the incident in Leeds, adding she was being updated on the situation.
In a statement, she said: “I am being kept updated on the serious violent incident in Leeds this afternoon.
“Thank you to the police and emergency services for their swift response.
“My thoughts are with the victims and all those affected by this attack.”
Local Bethany Connelly said that a man with a crossbow was seen in the area.
She said: “I was at work at a nearby restaurant and some girls were sitting outside.
“They asked if they could come in and finish what they were having because they’d seen someone with a crossbow.
“This was all before the incident, and a few minutes later, we saw ambulances and police rushing down the roads.
“The roads were getting blocked off, and we’d been told by police to keep everyone indoors and away from the area.”
The attack took place further up the road from Woodies Pub, not at the pub itself.
A spokesperson for Woodies Pub said: “The road has been closed off from the crossroads to St Chad’s Drive.
“The road is also off limits for pedestrians, and they are having to walk through Becketts Park.”
