And you won’t have far to go once you step foot off the dart.

The Bloody Stream, known as the ‘pub with a train station’, is loved for its great pints, good food and bustling atmosphere.

The iconic pub was named after the second Norman invasion in 1177 – when blood from the battle made its way into the local stream.

A must have dish on their menu is Wrights Tradition Fish & Chips, served with mushy peas, homemade tartare sauce and lemon.

Other top Howth spots for fish and chips include Beshoff Bros Howth, The Oar House and Leo Burdock Howth.

The charming village of Howth boasts beautiful and wildflower-covered sea cliffs.

Soak up the sun at Red Rock Beach, Claremont Beach or Balscadden Bay Beach.

It’s the perfect location to go walking and take in the beauty of the area.

Follow the Dublin Coastal Trail or discover the breath-taking views on the Cliff Path Loop.

There’s plenty of day tours to explore including Howth Cliff Cruises, Howth Tour on E-Bikes and the Ancient Village Adventure tour.

Hop aboard a boat tour to Irelands Eye – a rocky island with history dating back to 700 AD.

You may be lucky enough to spot some wildlife including puffins, fulmars, razorbills, seals and dolphins.

There’s lots of activities for all ages including kayaking, paddle boarding and golf.

The Dublin Coastal Craft Beer & Seafood Trail is perfect for foodies and craft beer enthusiasts.

Charl, who posts under @charlmalan1, took to Instagram to share a clip capturing the “magic” of Howth’s cliffs.

Visitors took to Tripadvisor to rate their experience.
