IRELAND has a new millionaire tonight – just in time to ring in the new year.
One Irish punter will be buying all the rounds in the pub tonight following the results of the Millionaire Raffle.
The special raffle, where tickets cost €25 each, saw over €6.3 million won across 8,500 prizes.
Punters across the country will be checking their tickets to see if they are €1 million richer.
But one player came out on top as the €1m winning raffle number drawn was 467908.
Six people bagged €100,000, with the winning raffle numbers being: 146954, 151605, 229993, 324384, 411505 and 518351.
Ten punters won €10,000, as raffle numbers 061224, 075372, 151721, 177070, 179323, 203586, 220821, 249848, 287990 and 388170 were drawn.
14 players won €5,000 as the winning numbers drawn were: 001234, 002881, 009227, 031900, 033024, 060596, 065436, 068302, 069465, 081518, 083434, 098230, 099479 and 117767.
And 14 others won €1,000, as the winning raffle numbers were: 002872, 003859, 003865, 005069, 005472, 006806, 010896, 011058, 012135, 014770, 015799, 017883, 018119 and 020376.
The final 14 winners bagged €500. The winning raffle numbers were: 000006, 000090, 000126, 000214, 000223, 000233, 000236, 000244, 000251, 000270, 000286, 000449, 000455 and 000478.
And in tonight’s Euromillions draw, over 40,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.
However, no one managed to bag the top prize of €17,000,000.
The winning numbers drawn were 19, 24, 26, 28 and 33.
The Lucky Stars pulled were 8 and 12.
The most that Irish punters bagged was €129, after 20 people matched four numbers plus one of the lucky stars.
In the Ireland only raffle, 10 players won €5,000 each.

It comes just after a lucky punter celebrated after winning €5.9million in a Lotto draw held on December 28.
The winning numbers were 2, 4, 5, 10, 16, 17 and the bonus number was 23.
The Mayo winner becomes the 11th Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, joining the ranks of ten other big winners from across the country, including Dublin, 5, Limerick, 2, Louth, Wexford, and most recently, Galway.
This latest win also makes the Mayo player the 35th National Lottery millionaire of 2024.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the store location where the winning ticket was purchased will be announced on Monday.
In another huge win, two Dublin players struck gold after matching five numbers plus the bonus, each bagging €40,341.
One Quick Pick ticket was purchased on 27th December from Shiels Supermarket, Malahide, Co. Dublin.
And the other Quick Pick was purchased on the day of the draw from Tesco Extra Balbriggan, Millfield Shopping Centre, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said: “What an extraordinary night for Mayo and Dublin players, with three incredible wins!
“We now have a Mayo player who’s €5.4million richer, claiming the title of the 35th National Lottery millionaire as we close out the year, and two Dublin players each securing a fantastic €40,000 prize.”
And it was revealed that the store that sold the winning ticket was due a big win.
Carey’s in Belmullet, Co Mayo has sold more than its fair share over the decades that a seven-year stretch without a win was cause for alarm.
But the €5.4million Christmas Eve golden ticket has propelled the shop – which once sold a €13.8million winner – back into the big time yet again.
However, the ticketholder has yet to come forward.
Lorraine O’Connor Carey said: “Our shop has been a cornerstone in Belmullet for over 40 years, and it’s safe to say, we’ve had our fair share of National Lottery wins and are well-known for our successes. We were due a big win, so I wasn’t entirely shocked when I got the call.
“We have many regular local customers, so it’s exciting to think that one of them might have had a life-changing win.
“We hope they’re already enjoying their amazing news, and what an incredible way to kickstart the new year.”
