Owner Declan O’Regan is also the proprietor of some of Dublin‘s most loved venues including Hogan’s on Dame Street.

Located on George’s Street, O’Regans is popular with guests who enjoy their free jazz nights on Tuesdays and trad sessions on Sundays.

Taking to social media, the pub hit out at a female customer who took a picture that was hanging in the boozer, adding that it was a very sentimental snap.

Alex O’Regan appealed for the return of the picture on Instagram.

The picture in question is a family photo is of an uncle behind the bar.

Sharing a photo of the stolen picture, he wrote: “Could the girl who thought she was hilarious, who stole the original picture of our uncle behind the bar in 1990 please return it.”

He added: “Every picture on the wall is part of our family history and is sentimental to us.

“Most are originals and irreplaceable. A lot of them are older than me.

“Don’t be crap. Don’t steal pictures.”

It comes days after a Hollywood A-lister was spotted in another Dublin pub.

Actor Paul Rudd enjoyed a pint and a sing song in the Irish watering hole.

The Clueless star was spotted hanging out with popular limerick folk band, Hermitage Green, who popped into the pub for a quick drink before their big concert.

Taking to Instagram, the band shared a video of them singing popular tune ‘The Parting Glass’ for the actor.

QUIET PINT

The band said: “We finished sound check in the Olympia yesterday and slipped out for a quiet pint of Guinness and a poitín chaser.

“And Paul if you’re reading this – you forgot to give us the 15 euro for it.”

Vocalist and guitarist with the band Dan Murphy thanked the punters who attended last night’s gig, saying: “I can’t get the smell of poitín and Paul Rudd out of my clothes this morning”.

Regular sightings have been made of the 55-year-old actor around Ireland’s capital city, as he is busy filming a new musical comedy in Dublin.

The film, “Power Ballad” stars Nick Jonas and is directed by John Carney, who wrote and created the musical comedy dramas, Sing Street and Begin Again.
