DJ SENSATION Fred Again gave pub-goers in Dingle a night to remember after he performed an incredible surprise set.
The hit-maker descended on the Kerry town on Thursday night and headed straight to the legendary Dick Mack’s bar for a “last minute” gig.
Fred Again, who’s real name is Frederick Gibson, had teased fans about his whereabouts online.
The 31-year-old posted a snap of himself on Instagram earlier that day swooning over the views at Inch Beach, while a second story showed him being driven through Lios Póil.
As the Adore You singer landed to perform his set in Dick Mack’s, hundreds of eager fans rushed to the venue to catch a glimpse at the star.
It was reported that crowds flooded out onto the street outside the pub, with some even sitting on church steps across the road to simply listen to the commotion inside.
In a video posted to Warner Music Ireland’s Instagram page, Fred beamed as he sang out his popular tune Adore You to a buzzing crowd.
The ecstatic audience sang the words of the song back to the DJ as he hyped them up.
And as fans around the country caught wind of the surprise set, they flooded the comment section.
Kasey wrote: “SURELY NOT! I’M SO JEL.”
Simon said: “WHY did I not know this was happening!”
Fionnula added: “Wow what a buzz.”
Saddened fans also ascended on Twitter with wishes they could have witnessed the fun.
Lauren said: “How is Fred Again playing in a random pub in dingle right now and I’m only finding out????!! I’ve been dying to see him again after EP last year but he’s impossible to track down.”
Danny joked: “Mental to think Fred Again was playing in some tiny pub in Dingle last night.”
And Lucy wrote: “Fred Again is in dingle what the actual f*** is happening!!”
And Tina remarked: “STOPPPPP ITTTTT WHAT ON EARTH?!?!?”
The British star then posted a clip of himself saying: “Dingle say hello.”
He then panned the camera around to the cheering crowd and captioned his video: “YEAAAAAS DINGLE!!”
In another snippet, the producer played his song Delilah (pull me out of this) sending the audience into a frenzy.
Blue lights flashed all around the venue as fans jumped with their hands in the air.
Fred jumped with the crowd and grinned from ear-to-ear.
He then gushed: “Oh my godddd Dingle!!”
