THIS is the shocking moment a car was left stuck in the beer garden of a Dublin pub after accidentally smashing through the terrace screens.
Customers in the pub were stunned when the car came through the barriers outside Grainger’s The Manor Inn, in Swords, Dublin.
The BMW car also managed to take out a concrete bollard as it accidentally mounted the path and smashing into the beer garden.
Gardai attended the scene after it happened on Friday at around 8.45pm.
The vehicle was reportedly gone by the time they arrived and no offences were disclosed.
The video of the aftermath appears to have been recorded by a punter in the pub watching on.
In the video, a car can be seen stuck after driving through the terrace barriers between the seats and the car park.
The registration of the car has broken off the front of the vehicle, and the remnants of the broken beer garden screen lay under the wheels.
It appears to be stuck in the screens that remain upright.
And it also appears that a concrete bollard knocked over is lying on the ground under the cars bumper.
Some damage can be seen to the sides of the motor, with one of the front headlights smashed.
A spokesperson told the Irish Sun: “Gardaí attended the scene following a report of an incident involving a car, which occurred outside a premises at Swords Manor, Co. Dublin, on Friday August 23 2024 at approximately 8.45pm.
“The vehicle was not at the scene on arrival.
“No offences were disclosed”.
They also noted that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
