The bar which is located in Bury Quay, Tullamore, was awarded silver in the local bar category.

Old Warehouse is not far Lowry’s hometown of Clara, and it created  50 full-time and part-time jobs.

Clancy from the NolaClan pub group is behind the venture with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour golf star.

37 Dawson Street in Dublin would be one of the businessman’s well known outlets.

The winner in this category was The Kingswood Lodge, Co Dublin, while the bronze went to Whelan’s bar, Co Limerick.

The winners of the awards were announced on Monday at a gala awards ceremony in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin.

Elsewhere, the Offaly ace is in action at this week’s second FedEx Cup Playoff event at Castle Pines Golf Club at the BMW Championship.

Hideki Matsuyama claimed the first of three end-of season playoff tournaments last weekend at the FedEX St. Jude Championship as he pocketed $3.6m.

And as always on the PGA Tour there’s huge stakes up for grabs with players fighting to earn a top-30 spot for next week’s season finale at the Tour Championship.

Another $20 million purse is on the line with the winner set to take home $3.6 million and 2,000 FedEx Cup points.

However, the only the top-30 will move onto the Tour Championship in Atlanta in the standings at the close of play this Sunday.
